The Ghanaian journalist battled with cancer for quite a number of years and was off air for over a year, on sick leave.
The late journalist is best known for his quality sports presenting and has been hailed by some as Ghana’s finest football commentator on television.

News of his death went viral on social media on Wednesday May 10, 2017 before family members confirmed his unfortunate passing indicating that he has been ill for some time now.
Christopher noted for his good analysis of local and international sports has been missing from the media scenes after he parted ways with Metro TV some years ago.
It is believed that his ailment accounted for his decision to take backstage in media practice after surviving a cancer and spending several months on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi
Last year, images of the top broadcasters and sports journalists, who was battling the cancer revealed him looking thinner than before.
The images reportedly caused great worry among most of his friends and fans with some calling for prayers for his full recovery.
The news of the journalist death broke on social media when it was reported by his colleague journalists.
