Pogba SNUBBED by brother in Ballon d'Or voting
Florentin Pogba, who is captain of Guinea, used his three votes for Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Manuel Neuer, as FifPro XI pick Paul missed out
All the voting details from the Ballon d'Or have been released and Paul Pogba, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world and a true star in the making, was named in the FifPro XI.
Lionel Messi won the top honour, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar coming in second and third meaning Paul's brother, Florentin was one happy man... having voted for Messi and Ronaldo as his top two picks.
Surely his brother at least got his third pick, though? No. The Guinea captain used his final vote for Manuel Neuer as poor Paul was left out of the running entirely.
However, in the face of plenty of homerism amid the Ballon d'Or votes - such as 14 of Yaya Toure's 18 votes coming from Africa and Vincent Kompany picking Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard - this is perhaps quite refreshing.
Either way, something to ponder for Paul.
